We don’t like to act like your parents, but in our experience some of you guys are never always sure the best way to shave. So unless you resemble Desperate Dan and have a beard (and even beards need upkeep) shaving will be part of your regular grooming routine.
Follow our simple tips below for the best possible shave:
Shaving in the morning is best, when the skin is rested.
Shower first to help soften the skin and facial hair.
Wash the area to be shaved for a clean and soft surface.
Apply your baby FACE shaving oil and gently rub into your face and neck.
Use hot water as this will help soften the hair and also prolong the life of your blade.
Use a sharp razor to avoid pulling and snagging.
Always shave with the grain and use your other hand to pull the skin tight, this will help avoid razor burn and in-growing hairs.
Use short strokes not forgetting that the grain will be
different on the cheeks to the neck.
Rinse the blade after each stroke under hot water to
improve performance.
After shaving, rinse face thoroughly with cold water.
